Samantha & Scott at The Mansion

Samantha and her Bridesmaids were the definition of ‘squad goals’. They certainly looked the part as they got ready together at home in matching dressing gowns, with make up artists Abid and Keelie doing the glam for the day.

The bridesmaids wore gorgeous Greek-style purple gowns. The wedding dress itself - once put on - was a beautiful, bohemian, beaded number with a gorgeous long train that made Samantha look elegant and regal. It was an emotional moment when the parents first saw their daughter for the first time - mum even shed a few tears.

Scott and his three groomsmen got ready at home and each wore custom cufflinks, with their own initials and the date of the wedding. They met the guests at the Mansion, Roundhay Park, Leeds, where fortunately, it was sunny and warm.

Samantha’s dad walked her down the aisle behind the adorable flower girl to meet Scott. All of the parents sat front row during the ceremony, proudly watching as the bride and groom exchanged rings. When the register was signed, both mums came forward as witnesses, perfectly uniting not just the happy couple, but the two families.

As they walked outside, we managed to capture the newlyweds being showered with confetti. These shots always come out in the most beautiful way, with the couple and their beaming smiles walking through the cascade of petals.

At the reception, the speeches – featuring embarrassing childhood photographs- were followed with the couple’s first dance, which they choreographed perfectly. However, it wasn’t long until all the guests were joining in and enjoying themselves.

At the end of the night we finished with sparklers – just like the confetti, they create a stunning dynamic to the pictures. Everyone got involved in creating a tunnel of light for the newlyweds to stroll through, and we even played with long exposure to capture the couple in a halo of light!

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Tyzack, enjoy looking through their day.
